A product company, not just a design office
VASSMAAN was established on 05 May 2005 as a product development company covering market research, styling, engineering design, prototype development, homologation and mass production hand-holding. For the past 23 years the group has launched a minimum of two successful products every year.
Our added strength is the combination of experts with 30 to 45 years of experience from America, Europe and Korea guiding Indian engineers with 5 to 20 years of experience. That pairing is how we hold time, quality and cost together on the same programme.
Today we manufacture sub-system parts, work continuously on reducing import content, and hand-hold production with all moulds and a JPH based production system. Our proto shop and low volume production facility in Chennai runs with 113 engineers on-role, 14 retired experts from Germany and Korea engaged as projects need them, and a contract workforce of 40 to 60 that scales with orders.

Contract manufacturing of L3 cargo carts is running, with L5 three wheelers and 1 to 3 ton LCVs in scope.
